Dr. Hicks graduated from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. He completed his family medicine residency at Millcreek Community Hospital and served as medical resident for the VA Medical Center in Erie, PA. He served as chief resident during his Family Medicine residency. Dr. Hicks is board certified in Family Practice, Occupational Medicine and Pain Management.
For over 40 years, Dr. Hicks has been a full-time practicing physician with experience in family practice, pain management, occupational medicine and emergency medicine. He serves as Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at ICOM and has served in many other academic positions as well for the University of Western States, Maryville University College of Health Professions, Walden University, Samford University and Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Hicks has a uncommon interest in furthering his education and has completed numerous degrees including Doctor of Chiropractic, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Doctor of Acupuncture.
